Cape Town City Ballet (CTCB), in collaboration with the South African Youth Choir, will present a fundraising event in support of RX Radio at the CTCB Studios in Rondebosch on Friday, October 31, and Saturday, November 1.
RX Radio, a platform based at the Red Cross Children’s Hospital, is run by children, for children. It aims to empower young people to share their voices, tell their stories, and engage with issues that matter to them.
CTCB will perform highlights from past and present productions, including an excerpt from Sean Bovim’s Swingtime, which will also be staged at the Maynardville Open-Air Festival next year.
The fundraiser takes place on Friday, October 31 at 7pm, and Saturday, November 1 at 11.30am.
Tickets cost R200 per person and can be paid for upon entry, with all proceeds going to the radio station's operations.
Donations can also be made on RX Radio's website
