Hillsong Church will be hosting the first Sisterhood event of 2018 in 11 different locations including Gugulethu, Century City, Somerset West, Mitchell’s Plain, Stellenbosch, Southern Suburbs, Macassar, Centurion Pretoria, Gauteng and at Pollsmoor Prison, on Saturday March 3.
The Gugulethu event will be at Tembaletu School, at 11am.
Admission is free. They will also host a kid’s programme.
The Sisterhood programme seeks to “gather, equip and mobilise” women of all ages, background and culture to make the world a better place. The event will be followed by another annual women’s conference, Colour, from Wednesday April 11 until Saturday April 14.
About 10 000 women will gather in two conferences at the GrandWest Arena in Cape Town. The conference creates pathways for women to raise awareness and mobilise responses around certain issues. This year the focus will be on raising awareness around domestic violence.
