Paul Kilfoil was awarded the Fish Hoek Scribbler of the Year trophy
The annual Scribblers writing club's open mic evening was held at Angels Resource Centre, in Fish Hoek, on Thursday, November 18.
Paul Kilfoil, Karen Gray-Kilfoil, Jim Harwood, Sue Capon, Jon Abbott, Isabel von Witt, Val Parry, Helen Masterson, Andrea Marais-Potgieter, Lisa Macdonald and Leigh Barrett read some of their writings, making it an evening of storytelling, angst, wit and laughter.
Paul Kilfoil was awarded the Fish Hoek Scribbler of the Year trophy for having self-published two books in the last year and for his consistent presence and leadership in Scribblers meetings.
The next Scribblers meeting is planned for Thursday January 20 next year, at 6pm. Andrea Marais-Potgieter will lead the session.
