Police are calling on the families of missing persons to immediately to contact them after the discovery of three dead bodies in Khayelitsha over the weekend.

A second body was spotted by a runner at the Monwabisi Beach sand dune in the direction of Macassar.
The shocked runner ran to Baden Powell Road where he flagged down a Metro police officer.
“Macassar members received a phone call from a law enforcement member of a unidentified body that was laying in the bushes nearby Macassar beach,” said police spokesman Captain FC Van Wyk.
“On arrival they found the body of an unidentified male dressed in black and white takkies, black jeans, brown leather belt, black underwear all colour T-shirt between 30 to 40 years old.”
Anyone with any information about this incident is asked to contact the investigating officer Detective Constable Mboniswa on 021 857 7100.
A third body was discovered at Monwabisi Beach on Tuesday morning. Harare SAPS spokesman Captain Siyabulela Vukubi said the man who appeared to be in his late 20s was wearing a white shirt and blue underwear.
“We invite familes who are missing someone to come and have a look,” said Captain Vukubi.
