A tshisanyama day was held for the residents of Langa Cheshire Home on the Day of Reconciliation, December 16.
Lwando Nondzaba, managing director of Nondzaba Communications, which hosted the event, said they wanted to motivate the youth of Langa to contribute whenever they could.
Mr Nondzaba also hosted the event last year. The Langa resident had been in car accident three years ago that left him needing brain surgery.
He said that was why he wanted to help at the home, which provides care for disabled people.
Mr Nondzaba thanked the contributors of this year’s event, Bandile Mbaduli, Lungiswa Mdingi, Velile Maxwell Dingaan, Chase Life and Wealth, and Woolworths Claremont branch.
