Con Spirito Philharmonic performs Concert for Peace

Accordionist Loren Ehlers will perform at the Concert for Peace.

Con Spirito Philharmonic’s next performance, Concert for Peace, takes place on Saturday October 26 at Uitsig DRC/NGK, Mountain View Drive, Ridgeworth, Bellville, at 7pm.

Conducted by Dr Sjoerd Alkema, the concert features CPO’s first oboist, Lisa White, in the Oboe Concerto No. 1 in D minor by Ludwig Lebrun; clarinettist Annelize de Villiers performing the Clarinet Quintet for Strings, Op. 34, by Carl Maria von Weber; and accordionist Loren Ehlers in Pietro Deiro’s Concerto in A.

Con Spirito Philharmonic will sing excepts from Carl Jenkins’s The Armed Man: A Mass for Peace.
