Khayelitsha netball side dominates board games

Khayelitsha sub-district brought fierce competition and high-level play to the Cape Town Netball Federation board games held in Mitchell’s Plain at the weekend.
Showing grit on the court, both Khayelitsha teams topped their respective groups with perfect records, each winning all three of their group matches.
The standout performance from the two teams is not only about bragging rights at the tournament but it also positioned several of their players as top contenders for selection to represent the Cape Metro district at the provincial games.
While no selection has been made yet for the provincial tournament, the players from Khayelitsha have made a strong statement.
