More than 80 aspiring amateur fighters from the Western Cape seized the chance to take their careers professional over the weekend, with 67 of them successfully making the transition.

“The good news is that a number of boxers showed some glimpses of brightness. If what we saw on Saturday is anything to go by, the competition will be very, very tough, and promoters should brace themselves for some nice headaches.”
