In the Cape Town Softball Association’s Ladies Major League, the Westridge Yankees beat Glenthorn A’s 13-3.
In the First Division, the Yankees team won by an impressive 18-1 over the Kuils River Cougars.
Meanwhile, Lavender Hill beat Blackheath’s first division team 16-1.
Grassy Park Crusaders walked away with a 7-2 win against Devonshire Rovers first division team. Tina Johnston had another superb match for Crusaders. Despite a slow start to the match, Anna Profaizer and Anthea Smith found the momentum for Devonshire but it was a little too late to salvage the score.
In the Second Division, Milnerton Mavericks got the better of Strandfontein Mets with a scoreline of 16-2.
In the Third Division, St Martins displayed their dominance with a commanding 17-2 victory over the Tornados in the third division.
Mavericks’ third division team lost 16-11 against Blackheath. On Monday night, Blackheath continued their winning momentum with a 11-5 victory over Normies.
