Bothasig Football Club secured a crucial 1-0 win over Bellville City FC, moving them to ninth place on the log with 21 points, in the Cape Town Tygerberg Local Football Association’s Premier Division.

Wynberg St Johns maintained their fifth position with 36 points after a 2-1 victory against FN Rangers, who remain at the bottom with 10 points.

Vasco Da Gama closed the gap at the top with a 3-1 win over Hanover Park, bringing their total to 48 points, just four behind the leaders.

Edgemead climbed to third place with 42 points following a 4-2 win over JMI, who are struggling in eighth place with 24 points.

Green Point Salesians’ 2-0 victory over Fish Hoek lifted them to 10th place with 21 points, while Fish Hoek remains in 14th with 16 points.

Norway Parks edged out Sunningdale City 1-0, increasing their total to 19 points, while Sunningdale City stays in 13th place with 16 points.

Table View reinforced their fourth place position with 41 points after a commanding 4-1 win over Saxon Rovers, who are in seventh place with 25 points.

With some teams having games in hand, the upcoming fixtures, start from Tuesday August 20 until the weekend.

Bellville City FC will host FN Rangers at the Bellville City PP Smit Stadium A on Tuesday August 20.

Edgemead welcomes the red army of Table View on Tuesday night.

Saxon Rovers prepare for Green Point Salesians in Maitland.

On Thursday August 22, Vasco Da Gama will play against Fish Hoek in Parow.

The Abe Sher sports complex will welcome Table View when they play against Bothasig on Saturday August 24.

Edgemead will play against Norway Parks in Edgemead on Saturday.

Garden Village will take on JMI in Alexander Road.

Green Point Salesians and Bellville City FC have all to play for in Green Point to avoid the relegation zone on Saturday.

Saxon Rovers and FN Rangers will play a derby out in Maitland A on Saturday.

Sunningdale City will be on the lookout for maximum points when they host log leaders Hanover Park on Saturday.

Wynberg St Johns taking on Rygersdal promises to be a humdinger in Wynberg on Saturday.

With a double header over the weekend, FN Rangers will play against Fish Hoek, at Hanover Park, on Sunday.
