The Pan Africanist Congres of Azania (PAC) is saddened to announce the tragic loss of our beloved member, Nomthandazo Brenda “Nopetse” Bam, who was brutally shot dead by thugs at the funeral of one of our heroines, Yolanda “Nombrityis” Mjuza. (“Nyanga woman dies after being shot at PAC funeral,” Vukani, February 20).

We take this opportunity to express our heartfelt condolences to the family, friends and community of our fallen comrade.

On Saturday February 22 she was we laid to rest in a dignified and respectful manner. The PAC of Azania would like to extend its gratitude to the family, community and all who participated in the funeral proceedings. Your support and solidarity during this difficult time are greatly appreciated.
