The Vukani was established in 2000. This long established popular community title includes the key shopping centres the Promenade Mall and Sanlam Centre within its distribution area.

The Vukani is a free weekly community newspaper available in print and digital format, and is distributed to 81 250 readers’ homes every Thursday in the Khayelitsha, Jonkersdam, lkwezi Park, Washington Square, Tembani, Bongweni, Town 1 (Villages I – 2), Town 2 (Villages 1, 2a, 3, 4), Town 3 (Villages 3 – 5), Site C, Mfuleni, Langa, Guguletu, Browns Form, Hazeldean Estate, KTC, Nyanga and Crossroads areas.
