Tears for Zisile

Letter to the Editor|Published 3 years ago

Vuyisile John Zisile died tragically.

Vanessa Ravells Frost, Masakhe Development Centre, Gugulethu

We mourn the passing of Vuyisa Zisile (Masakhe).

We have learnt with great shock and sadness about the passing of Vuyisile Zisile affectionately known as ''Shoes".

An outstanding entrepreneur, progressive business man and a long standing supporter and patriot of Masakhe Development Centre.

Our logo, website, banners were designed by him in 2013 upon our establishment. He single-handedly came up with our logo and it’s motto. Shoes enjoyed a fruitful working relationship with our founder and former chairperson and by extension the entire organisation. Throughout his adulthood he has always been willing to assist the vulnerable, needy, disadvantage, orphans and poor of the poorest - leading by example to aspiring entrepreneurs.

We convey our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends and broader community of Site B Y Section. He has lived a good life. He has fought a good fight, he has finished the race and kept the faith. Rest in peace Vuyisa “Shoes" Zisile 'Ncilashe- Mvulane.
