Dublin clinches under-18 title for Athlone Tennis Club

Mitchell's Plain Tennis Club hosted its inaugural sponsored junior development tournament at the courts in Westridge over the weekend. Athlone Tennis Club's Alex Dublin won the under-18 section, beating Khayelitsha Tennis Club's Indiphile Dubase 6-3 and 6-0 in the final. The event featured some of the best young talent drawn from tennis hubs across the Cape Flats, including Khayelitsha, Mitchell's Plain, Athlone, Bellville, Langa, Gugulethu, and Bishop Lavis.
